Started strong. I was averaging 7:30 pace until mile 13. My right knee started to bug me a little. Therefore, I was running a little different which made me run different. So, both of my legs started to really get sore. I ran it in 4:48. one hour and 18 minutes later than what I actually was going for.
I realized that the training that I was doing was way wrong!!
I have been doing a lot of 5 milers. I need to step it up instead of doing the 5 milers I need to log more mileage per run.
So, I guess the good thing is that I learned something about my running! |
